Backup Everything Skyrim SE folder and data folder. Let's hope there be quick fix day after for modders so wouldn't be to hard on them.

Isn't there a way to prevent the game from being updated? Or does that only work with steam?

In Steam you can set Skyrim to only update when launched normally through Steam, then you can just launch the game through your chosen mod manager to bypass updates. I did this with Fallout 4 and Mod Organizer to avoid updating.

Yea that's how I've always had mine setup. Started doing that back when I was just starting to mod Oldrim. Always hated it when my game broke because of an update lol.

Go to "steam://open/console" in your browser, it should open with the Steam Client Bootstrapper.
In the Steam Console that just opened up, copy/paste this command.

Once it is done downloading, you should find the Skyrim SE 1.5.80 exe in your "Steam\steamapps\content\app_489830\depot_489833" directory.
