display23 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 On my sims they constantly are refusing to have sex with each other. Even when I restarted my game, uninstalled the mod and reinstalled it. I went to the setting and hit always allow but it keeps saying they refused to have sex PLEASE HELP

lbread Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Yep it’s the new update. I updated cause I wanted to preorder university and I completely forgot about the mod and now my game is doing the same thing. Oh well
sansa_stark13 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 It's the update. I completely forgot to turn auto-updates off and I'm having the same issue. Hopefully the patch will come swiftly, cause I just got this damn mod and I love it.
AGDark Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I believe I've found an easy, in-game work around. I ran into the constant refusal bug too because I forgot to turn off the auto-update feature as well but I managed to bypass it by having my sim start a solo act and then asked others to join in. Despite still having to ask other sims, they were able to join without any issues. It's admittedly a little clunky but it at least allows you to continue using the mod until it gets update :)

Unless you all delete your complete mods folders with each new update and then only re-download the things that were updated at the time, searching online for what was and what wasn't verified as working for those mods that didn't seem to update -- which you may -- this could happen at literally any other stage BECAUSE IT ISN'T STATED WHAT MOD IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. Unless I missed something wherein you said what mod was likely causing the problem and THEN they should wait until THAT SPECIFIC creator updated it... then, my apologies.

You don't need to delete your mod folder with each new update. There are a number of web sites that detail which mods are broken when the Sims 4 updates. Over time, you should know which ones you use that generally need updates. Wicked Whims and MC Command Center are two big ones that you should check every time there's an update. Same with any mod that relies on Wicked Whims, like Nisa's Wicked Perversions. Basically, you should check anything that changes gameplay. Clothing, build items, and other custom content generally don't need updated. Animations for Wicked Whims don't need updated, but the core of Wicked Whims does because it uses scripts.

(just in caes, if you have other mods than WW they prolly need to be updated too).
