Shadows too dark, too intense on character

Started modding on SE, and I don't like the current shadows I have too much... Shadows on the character specifically. See screenshot, I find areas marked with red too dark / too black. I'd like a better smoother/lighter shadow here. The problem is what knob, what setting to adjust? ? Finding an answer via search engines did not pay off....

 

Using Rudy ENB at the moment, if another ENB is the solution I'll try that.

use shift-enter to modify your gamma/brightness settings in ENB, that often a quick and dirty solution for me, also unchecking SSAO works as well.
