heroscomeback Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 While clearing out the Castle tunnels, Curie seemingly vanished. I assumed it was a typical AFT issue where a companion would be removed from your party and then re-added as soon as the game stabilized (I travel with 4 companions so this happens every now and then). However, once I was done the quest Curie never came back and I can't find her anywhere in the game. And now that I think about it, I don't remember ever seeing the message notifying me of Curie being removed from my party so I don't think it's AFT-related. I went to every settlement as well as Vault 81 but still no Curie. The only thing left was that maybe she had accidentally been disabled while I was doing some cleaning up around the Castle (using the disable command). The "enable" command was out of the question (I guess?) since I had used it a few dozen other times to clean up other shit. So instead, I used "prid 102249" and "moveto player" and finally, she was back! However, she was in her default outfit and her affinity had reset (it was maxed). So what I'm wondering, is this normal? I don't mind the affinity thing, I can get that back to maxed in no time. But I don't want to go through all that if the original Curie is still in my game somewhere, just lost...

I'll have to check that...in my game when I click on her (in synth form) it gives me the code 102249.

I just spent the past day (prior to losing her) learning how to edit her so I had 102249 drilled into my brain lol Regardless...despite everything I tried I still couldn't get her back in my game. So I'm abandoning this playthrough. It was about my 10th time in a row attempting a playthrough and ending up doing the same things I always do. So it's time to buckle down and actually try to do a semi-lore friendly playthrough for once!
