KoolHndLuke
I just saw this advertised. Daz 3d ??? Has anyone here used this before? How does it compare to Blender/3ds max? Link to comment
RomeoZero
Hexagon ? Promising but hard on UI compared to 3d max. Definitely worth to check if you are enthusiast. Link to comment
27X
The UI is garbage, but it's pretty flexible. As for use, you'll find the majority of "exotic" costumes pretty have been streaming out of Daz to skyrim for years (coco, asenasen, melodic et al) Bodies can also be ported as well. Link to comment
Tyrant99
Daz 3D is primarily for posing 3D models and rendering still images, it's similar to Poser, which is an image rendering alternative. I don't think it compares well to Blender/3ds Max because it's not generally used in the same way. It's possible to do some animation stuff in Daz, but not recommended. You'd be much better off using Blender or 3ds Max for animation/3D modeling imo. I've been working with Daz lately for game development, here's an example of one of my renders: Link to comment
