Missing Electronic Arts folder

Hey guys, I don't know if this question has already been asked, but I got a new computer and it seems to despise wickedwhims cause it won't install it, it keeps saying that the electronic arts folder is missing, even when the mods folder is right in it. I tried everything, putting the mods folder inside the EA one, disinstalling the game twice, deleting the EA folder and creating a new one but nothing seems to work. In my old computer I didn't have any problems whatsoever. Did it happen to anyone else? And if so, did you solve it or should I just give up?

The only time I've seen that is with pirated copies of the game (which aren't supported).

It does look like that, except for the animation folder cause I haven't installed any animations yet, since the bloody installer doesn't work. I bought my copy of the game with Origin, so I really don't think is pirated.

Man, this computer is making me flip my shit, it's not the first issues it caused.
