Problem with zombie animation 243

I'm using Resource Pack v3, Lw/PK rev. 96, LoversCreature Revised, Donkey's New and Improved Animation Pack Revised (and those versions of LoversIdleAnimsPriority and LoversAnimObjectsPriority). When my PC gets raped by a zombie, either by the updated Shadowrunner's RaperS or Joburg, animation 243 kicks in and the 3rd stage seems wrong.


I only get animation 243 with the zombies so far. At the beginning the animation looks fine, like the corresponding pics in the Daedra Sutra, but the stage just before finish the zombie jumps back 10 feet, stands, and has his hand(s) up at elbow position - exactly like animation 4704. My PC remains on hand and knees throughout, never assumes the pillory position as in 4704 as judging by the Daedra Sutra. At the last stage the zombie jumps back into the normal 243 crouched position behind my PC.


In the Sexual Exploits (Lovers Settings) spell I have "Set additional animations automatically" to on, and "Change positions automatically during sex" to off.


I think the 3rd stage should be just like the rest of them, with the zombie crouched behind my PC. I tried uninstalling the New and Improved Animation Pack Revised and making a clean save, but with just LoversCreature installed I get the same thing.


I don't know what the cause is or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

I probably just copied the wrong kf files when I reassembled the lovers creatures pack. The quick fix is just grab animations 243's kf and ini files from the DS and replace the ones from lovers creatures.


Donkey's New and improved animations pack only has animations that are not already included in lovers creatures. Reinstalling it gains you nothing.


I will take a look at lovers creatures and switch out 243 with a working one when I get a chance.


To your other point - the two settings you turned on\off don't have anything to do with creatures sex. The sex position(s) chosen for creature sex is selected as part of a random percentage from the available sex positions (provided that creature has more than one) in a script in the LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp

The two settings you refer to only apply to 1-200 animations (human to human).

If the DS animation last stage is broken too' date=' just let me know as I can tell you have to make a simple fix.



The DS 243 animations didn't work either. I copied over the ini and the creature meshes, but not the _male ones.


So I thought I'd test something completely different. I took the 4702 folder from the latest DS, renamed everything 243. Copied that to my Data folder. Now the 4702 animation plays correctly for my PC and the zombie until the 3rd stage, where the zombie gets the same standing/thrusting animation as before. Tried that with 4705 too, with the same results (PC appears fine, zombie movements similar to 4704 at 3rd stage).


Whatever is going on it appears to be animation independent. I can attach a pic if that might help.

Ok, when you replaced 243 with 4705, did you replace all 8 kf files (the 4 offensive ones in the creatures folder and the 4 defensive ones in the _male folder? You have to replace all 8 or it doesn't work. The animation files are all separate for each person\creature involved. There are 4 poses per animation, one for each party involved in sex for a total of 8 kf files. Also you need to replace the 243 ini file with the 4705 one (after renaming it of course) so the animations line up.


If you did that then I will see what I can do to work up a fix.

I renamed everything that was in the 4705 Daedra Sutra folder to 243. The ini, and all the kf files. There are 8 in the Creatures\Zombie\... folder and 8 in the Characters\_male\... So 16 total. I assume only the zombie offense and _male defense matter, but I did them all.

I hope this saves you some time:


I loaded up LoversIdleAnimsPriority in TES4Edit just to look at it. I don't understand it at all, but after looking at everything with a 243 in it I noticed the following IdleAnimation entries and their corresponding MODL - Model Filename:


OffC243x00 - Creatures\Zombie\IdleAnims\ani2\243_OffMotionx0.kf

OffC243x01 - Creatures\Zombie\IdleAnims\ani2\243_OffMotionx1.kf

OffC243x02 - Creatures\Zombie\IdleAnims\ani2\243_OffMotionx2.kf

OffC243x30 - Creatures\Zombie\IdleAnims\ani2\243_3_OffMotionx3.kf


So I thought to try overwriting 243_3_OffMotionx3.kf with a renamed 243_OffMotionx3.kf. That fixed the 243 animation in my game, the zombie animation looks as it should.


I didn't think to look here until I got the odd results with the 4705 files. I hope this helps you fashion a fix.

Ok, something else is going on here. I checked pack and this should not be happening. I want you to do the following and then re-test:


1. Go to Oblivion\data\meshes\characters\_male\idleanims\ani2\ and then delete ALL animations with the number 243. This includes the ones like:

243_1_DefMotionx0.kf and 243_2_DefMotionx0.kf and 243_3_DefMotionx3.kf as well as the 8 regular off\def 243 kf files. Should be 28 some odd files.

2. Go to Oblivion\data\meshes\Creatures\Zombie\IdleAnims\ani2\ and delete all 243 files there. Should be another 28 of them here too.

3. Grab a fresh 243 ini and fresh 243 animations from lovers creatures and this time only install the 4 243 def files to the _male folder and the 4 off files to the creatures folder.

4. Test and see if 243 plays correctly.

5. If it does then you can delete it and replace it with 4705 from Donkey's New and Improved Animations Pack if you want.


For now avoid using the Daedra Sutra so we can eliminate a variable.

I looked in the LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp and all zombie animations except 243 are disabled. I don't remember if I did that or Donkey did.

Ok, that does explain things a bit. Instead of overwriting you should also be able to just delete the files (back them up....just in case) and the plain 243 should work fine. I deleted all those extra files from my game and it works fine.


I need to look at deleting them from lovers creatures download so we don't have this problem.
