Furlow69 Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 I'm starting on a completely fresh install of the game. Currently using Mod Organizer 2. Other mods seem to be functioning fine so far like Alternate start, but the body mods won't swap out the models... Why is this? I tried both CBBE and Fusion Girl for females and BodyTalk for the men. I can't seem figure out why the default males remain all the time.
---nikoli Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Mod organizer is not reading the files correctly, the simplest solution is to hand place the meshes and textures that you want to show up in-game in the proper folders in the Fallout directory. Folders are the first place the game engine looks for data. The other option is that your mod is being overridden by another, you can try placing it lower on the list with Wrye Bash or a similar program.

I tried putting them in manually and strangly enough it still refused to swap meshes somehow. BUT, I did a complete clean install of everything. Hunted all mods and removed them from the drives and same with the mod managers and their hidden locations for mod database. Then re-DLed them and trying out Vortex. That seems to be working now, everything is functioning save fore my "Raider Overhaul" mod not showing any models and none the beast animations playing. But all else is functioning and for most part is stable.
---nikoli Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 The only things I can think of is either the folder structure is wrong somehow (misspelling somewhere or out of order folders) or there is a slim possibility that the skeleton won't work with that model (usually it just distorts the model but I have seen a couple of instances of it dropping the model several in-game meters below ground)
