ridjack Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 I'm not too clear on where to start troubleshooting this problem, since at the moment I have almost literally no information to work with myself. My sim is romancing many, many women throughout my world. He has the Player reward trait and the Polygamy trait, so AFAIK jealousy should be not a problem. The actual issue: I'm randomly getting a notification that states my sim has broken up with X other sim, and they now despise each other. Previously, I thought perhaps it was either jealousy from them finding out about my escapades somehow, since I did not have the traits listed above until somewhat recently; or I thought perhaps I had simply ignored the poor girl for too long and the relationship had decayed. But I was able to check just now by saving my current game in a different slot after seeing the notification, and going back to my most recent autosave. The relationship in question was just under half full on the friendship bar, and >90% full on the romance bar before the sudden breakup. I'm not sure what other info to provide at this juncture; there are no error logs to work with, and nothing else in the notifications is helping me out. Any ideas on the causes, or even a way to properly troubleshoot would be appreciated!
Nimbus666 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I'm currently having this problem, if you ever found a fix I'd love to know
2dk2c.2 Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 There are mods extant that change relationships on purpose, but I would not know if that's what is happening. Specifically "Devious Desires" (AKA Kinky whims) from ColonolNutty changes them, but that feature can be disabled. I can't remember if "wickedwhims" has an option like that, anyway most mods tend to *increase* relationships, I think only devious-desires makes you hate other sims. If it's a mod, if it's a cheat, it can be counteracted but I know that it isn't very immersive to just force everyone's friendship.
