Help, sexlab animations not playing!

Sexlab scenes aren't playing animations and characters just stand around. My file directory looks like Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors with no extra folders inside behaviours and just a whole lot of hkx files, I'm not sure how they're supposed to be sorted.

Did you install it manually?

Has it ever worked, or is this new behavior?

Yep, there's a ton of folders and hkx files inside them in animations.
I did not install it manually, I use NMM
Yes, it used to work just fine up until like, an hour ago

So what did you change prior to that?

 

When you say the characters just stand around, are they making sounds as though there is a scene taking place?  What information is being posted to log or console?

Information says playing animation, they are making the sounds etc. I don't think I've changed anything in the past couple hours that would have had that effect, all I've changed today was some bodyslide customising of the DD items to actually fit my character.

Post the FNIS log (whatever is on the fnis window after you press "Update FNIS Behavior").

Just reset animations and the whole sexlab plugin for good measure. No dice. No fix.

I'm using sexlab romance to intentionally trigger them but it doesn't matter, scenes started by the dibella cult, devious devices, enchantress or anything else don't work either.

Same partners every time?  May want to use the Sexlab debug spells, just to be sure.

Nope, any partners any time at all. Happened with the Sybil twice - no animations period.

Are you using this skeleton?

 

What's the warning about? It says there is 1 warning but I can't see it in the log.

I don't actually know how to see the warning? And yes, that's what I'm using. Again: animations played up until about midday today

Ok, not sure if this will solve your issue, but at least you could update to this skel which is the recommended one nowdays.

Other than that, you could check if it happens with all animations or maybe its a particular anim pack you're having issues with, or use another mod to trigger the animations. But it shouldn't just stop working, if you had it working before something must have been changed.

 

Edit: some advices I've read about animations not working (something I've never experienced 1st hand)

 

- Delete the "0_master.hkx" file (location: ...\Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\0_master.hkx) and re-run FNIS.

- Make sure FNIS and your mod manager are set to run as admin.

I don't have the HDT physics pack and that all looks complicated >.< It is happening with anyone regardless of who I ask or what mod I use to trigger it.

Reloaded to an earlier save, animations worked.

Sternum, your fix worked. IT WORKED. TADA. FIXED ON CURRENT SAVE NO NEED TO RELOAD TO OLDER.
