rylasasin Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 hi, I've installed Xlovers merged 4.1 recently, and now I've noticed a few of my favorite positions from previous versions are now completely gone! I was only made aware of it actually when I found a video I made at the beginning of the year, and I noticed I'd not been able to access a few of the positions it showed, namely, the ones depicted @ 0:30-1:30, @ 2:27, @ 5:17-5:54 and @ 7:35 - the end of the video. Anyone have those? Cause I'd really like them back. On a related note, there's quite a few anims I currently have which I'd like to get rid of. Some are just mirror copies of other anims (IE 03, 55, and 64) and some I just like to get rid of because they're really awful (172, 57, 161, among many others.) How do I do that?
gregathit Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I can't help you on the 1st request as I don't off hand have those position numbers written down anywhere but on the 2nd item: If you want to delete an animation you can go to oblivion\data\ini\ and either delete the number of animation you want to get rid of (example: 172_motion.ini) or just change the file type to something else (example: 172_motion.ini-deleted) and that animation will not play anymore. You do not have to mess with the kf files at all (which are in a different directory anyway). Just remember NOT to delete animations 1 thru 10 or you will have errors!!! I noticed by the way that none of the animations in the movie had bbb. Are you aware that a bbb animation pack is out there (should be on this site). If you can't find it just holler and I will track down the link!
rylasasin Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 hmmmmmm... while we're on the topic, is there a faster way to veiw anims from outside the game? I currently use Nifskope to open up the skeleton.nif and then attach KF files to it, reloading after every KF file. But that's kinda tedious. Is there a better way? Also, call it a rumor but rev 89 might have it. but I don't know where to get that to check it out. And they might have had BBB, but I don't think I was using BBB compatible skeltons back then (now I use VORB so that problem takes care of itself)
gregathit Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Outside of the game I don't know of any way to view animations faster. What I did to help me decide what to keep and what to get rid of was change all my ini files to one group number and just cycled through them and wrote down the numbers of the one's to keep. As to your second point I am not sure I understand.... I am running v90 and I just went and downloaded a bbb pack (with ini and kf files) and dropped it in overwriting everything. I will search around and see where I got the pack from.
