Where to begin with Skyrim VR mods?

Hiya guys and girls!

 

I'm looking to start getting some of the awesome mods here onto my VR setup for skyrim. As far as compatibility goes, aside from the fact it runs of special edition not regular edition, what sort of things should I be looking for to make sure that its still smooth and fun in the headset. Any and all help would really be appriciated :)

Also it might surprise you but reddit might be a better place than loverslab to get some good pointers on how to set this up properly.

*1 = I like to keep separate mods for the different generated stuff. For example for CBBE and FNIS.

*2 = This is the normal Racemenu, just rolled back to an earlier version, that works with the same runtime version that SkyrimVR runs on. Since the latest Racemenu is updated to run on the latest version of Special Edition, which is ahead of the VR version. However, the Racemenu character creator still doesn't show up when making a new character.

*3 = This is the Unofficial SkyUI found on GitHub.

 

The list is organized based on their load order.

 

And this is just what I considered as the essential mods.

With some simple body physics. :D 

 

I want to add more later, like SexLab, and Devious Devices.

Just haven't had the time yet.

Also it might surprise you but reddit might be a better place than loverslab to get some good pointers on how to set this up properly.

 

I noticed you had the flowergirls vr mod, as well as other nsfw mods. I tried these out recently(flowergirls specifically) but noticed the camera went apeshit when getting into a sex scene with my character. I used the fnis program correctly(I think) but haven't been successful. Is it the same for you?

Not at all. Flowergirls spawns a copy of the player character and uses that for the animations. I didn't play the game in the last few months but when I did that stuff worked perfectly.

 

The only problem was that the player character copy didn't have your equipment and armor. But that was easy to overlook imo and might even be fixed by now.

 

I decided against installing VR body or equivalent mods btw, those were buggy af a few months ago and also looked like shit (fish eye effect and stretched arms if I remember correctly).
