Familial Relations issues

So, this is bugging me a bit.  Recognition of relationships in a long, long game.  Brief setup: I started with one sim, married, had two kids.  Those two kids went off on their own(houses) and got married and had kids.  so, three generations of the Dax family.

 

What bugs me.

1) little to no recognition of family members in game ie once the second generation moved out, the relationship to the parents, grandparents and uncles was reset to zero. (not WW related but annoying none the less)

2) The different Dax family members would hit on/sex with the spouses of other family members.  In fact, it happened at the WEDDING of the 1st generation son.

3) Only 1 best friend and one boyfriend and one husband.  limiting.

4) The are "you single" in romance..annoying. Need a selection for "Do you have children"

Yes, some of these aren't WW related.  I apologize for those, but this is the only forum i found where people respond.

What gets me is how once you've moved out family members that became celebrities, the kids that didn't really know them growing up won't react to them like family.

Oh yeah that aswell!  Silly error. As a developer myself, its a simple flag set and edit on the data relations.  OR for non developers: its a tag and filters all information based on the tag so that only relevant items are displayed. could be programmed as Family_relationship_tag = (y/n) select ALL where Family_Relationship_Tag = "Y" from TABLE(Menu.Dial.Friendly) DISPLAY <Empty tag>

 

Bugs me...because it would be obvious in a game like this that this type of situation will occur and occur often <SET RANT=Off>
