the sims 4 - free will

My sims no longer do anything unless i control them. Free will is on so shouldnt be a problem. Is there a mod that has been included in one of the downloads? anyone else have this issue?

I have a slightly different problem, and it Is because of mods:

Whenever my sim is about to get "assaulted" (yelled at) she'll wait patiently for the other sim to finally show up, and this could take many seconds.

And If I tell her to do something, she'll mostly ignore me. So she is following the will of a mod, rather than me.

She'll stop and look like she's waiting for something.

  And if I dare to break the cycle I get mod-errors.

So it's my little game within a game now

(wash the cup.

Wash the cup!!

Ignore her, she only wants to be mean, wash the damn cup!)

(error)

(she eventually washes the cup)

I'm not sure what you mean by "included" in the downloads, if you have no mods at all then
