Funzel22 Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Hello, I have optimize this mod from LE to SE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4955?tab=description 83Willows 101BugsHD Butterfly Dragonfly Luna-Moth Torchbug from 83Willow . With the .esp from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71499 Patch from AC3s . It was really successfully! I could optimize the meshes and the .esp (I have taken a patched .esp for this mod from a nother modder). I have even edited the texture files: I opend them in a graphic programm and changed a few colors (I don't like pink and so on). I have taken the satiation out of all bugs, so the colors are not so glaring anymore. Ingame all works fine. I'm really happy with my first optimizing. BUT: - Sometimes I see butterflys a bit "late" in the evening. Together with glowworms ..... Thats a bit odd ... - Sometimes I see 5 butterflys on one spot and than I can't see butterflys for a long time at all. - I could find only one spot with ants right now. Thats really not a lot. Cause of this I want to check the scripts. Yes, you are right I have not the sligthest idea about scripting! ? I hoped I could see some easy information in the scripts ..... or I could open the file in the CreationKit and there is something where I could edit the spawn times or the spawn location (spots) or something like this. But I can't find the bugs/butterflys in the CreationKit .... not all of them. And I'm not sure if this is the correct way to chance the scripts (CreationKit). If I open the mod in the CK (open it as active file) I find only about 5 bugs/butterflys in the window. Somewhere at actors or so .... (Can't look right now I make a game re-installtion). But there should be about 30 or 40 files .... not just 5. My question please: HOW can I check and edit the scripts? (I have only meshes, textures files and a .esp file ) Here are the file: https://dfiles.eu/files/927doz0ho?redirect It's the version with my personal modified colors. ? I would really appreciate some advice. THANKS! ? PS: I can't publish this mod-compilation cause the author don't answer me right now. Hope she/he will see my message soon. ?

Not sure how easy it will be find and change the things. Maybe it is better to ask on the mod's page if you don't think it is working correctly or if want to suggest changes.
Funzel22 Posted July 14, 2019 Author Posted July 14, 2019 I try it with the creation kid .... I always try first, before I start a thread ? but I could not find the bugs/butterflys whatever ... only 5 of them ..... I have SSEEdit ... I could try to check it with this program .....
prinyo Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 In CK on the screen where you select a mod to open there is a button Details that will show a list of the records the mod changes. This will show you what to search for. xEdfit is easier to use in this regard as it only shows the relevant records per mod. But for things like spawn points or to show dependencies and usage CK's interface makes it easier.
