Selky Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Yes i know sound basic and simplist but it's not. Crucial info are missing i guess. I'm following that guide But i'm very new to using outfit studio and bodyslide. I use UNP body renewal, and the mod is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2314?tab=posts&BH=0 I added the unp bodies in the bodyslide. But, in oufit studio, there's no "unp" reference. So i may add them but i cant edit or it's not enough noob friendly , i tried to follow that to add the "unp template" in the outfits studio but i dont understand chinese : Defining your own templates To add your own template to the XML file, use the following syntax. <RefTemplates> <Template sourcefile="SliderSets\CBBE.osp" set="CBBE Body" shape="CBBE">CBBE Body</Template> <Template>...</Template> <Template>...</Template> </RefTemplates> -------->hello? What syntax? where i need to type? lol. So i skipped that. I keep search "tried" to do things kinda similar that the video author. i did "new project" Then i choosed a reference "from file" I searched for the mod in MO2/mods/unp body renewal/meches/actor/character/actors asset/...and i took "femalebody 1 nif".. because argonian i'm not, head feets and hands sound not logic and same with 1st person. So i choosed femalebody 1nif. Why not 0? i dont know, this guy in the video pick the "nif" number 1. So... Before clic "next", i notice the window detect UNP. I'm happy. I clic next. "next select an outfit mesh, ect", it say. So i select " outfit/mesh menu " from file in Mo2/mod/legendary/mesches/armorblablabla etc to reach Dx_mac gwelada 1.nif and i clic finish. Now the menu show the body with the dress. There's no texture but that"s normal all my files go into "overwrite", and i create mod. Or in that case, i directly replace the files builds into the mods. So i dont mind there's no texture in the preview, at least it's good outfits and good body (or seems to be) Then, i clic UNP, and next "bones" tab. Like in the video, i'll select with pressing and maintening CTRL to select L breast and butt, and i scroll down to select too R breast and butt. And.. and then i'm doing more random things like an idiot because the video is outdated. So i right clic on "unp" and choose "copy selected bone weight" it say i cant copy on itself or similar. So i do it again, i mean i restart the whole thing, i take care to select the good files again, to clic "unp" first before select the bones, then i return in mesh and i "copy selected bones weight" on "dress", this time. And here i have a menu, i dont understand i leave it by default cause it sound to "usually" work on default value. Then i export the file as nif, i replace it directly in the mod. But it change nothing in game XD Anyone with good knowledge of this could show a NOOB FRIENDLY and UP TO DATE tutorial to add (or remove! i dont like physics on steel/iron/heavy armors!) bouncing physics please? Again, i really dont know why that dress have no physics... Also it's a ligh armor but it's clearly a dress (texture/skin). I think the one that edited the files and merged it did a mistake in here. Anyway, i dont care, i wish to learn how to fix things on my own. But that's not possible, and not by doing random stuff too...
Selky Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 i'm following this. Well it's kinda close to what i did. This time i select in bones "L breast/butt", same with "R". But next dress and "uunp" was checked and i did copied the selected bone weight. But alway no result in game. I have to say, when i use "bodyslide", the outfits from the legendary armors dont appears in the list. But it make no sense cause some outfits from the same mod already have unp/physics. In fact, they should all have physics. Why not my dress... damn it.
