How do I fix a neck gap in outfit studio?

An outfit of a mod I use has a neck gap issue if the weight slider isn't on 100. When lowering the charakter weight all bodyparts except the neck scale accordingly. Is it possible to fix that in outfit studio and if so how do I fix it?

Please note that I have zero experience with outfit studio so a foolproof step by step guide would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

Check does outfit have both _0 and _1 .nif files for it.

Then open outfits esp with tes5edit and make sure weight slider is enabled in armor addon that loads that nif file.

IF both above are true then mesh maybe bugged.

If no _0 and _1 nif  you can create this with outfit studio, any guide on how to create a bodyslide project will show how to do this but weight slider must be enabled in outfit esp data for it to work.

Thanks for your reply :)

There are a _0 and a _1 .nif and the weight slider is enabled.

What I noticed in outfit studio is that the neck seam slider changes nothing for that outfit  (it's the falmer armor for a custom race so the body below the armor needs to change).

Can I somehow fix that if I load the body mesh into that outfit and delete the existing body? And how would I do that?

I managed to fix it myself! ?

I created a copy of the default body outfit in a new project with a renamed mesh (so it won't get overwritten by the body mesh of the armor).

Then I loaded the outfit project with the bugged armor and added my project copy of the default body. After that I just deleted the default body mesh of the outfit, renamed the body mesh from the copy to default body mesh and saved the project.

Removing body and replacing is pretty much just making a new project which is what I do If something is wrong with the projects slider data.

I cannot tell  you if this will fix your problem or how to do it without seeing this outfit because if it's partial body mesh or has extra bones or whatever it is not so straight forward as to just follow a basic new project guide.

Did you conform the replaced shapes? If not it will not respond to sliders.

I don't know what you mean with that but the outfit responds to sliders in Bodyslide and the neck gap is gone ingame, so I guess it is conformed.

 Thanks for your help!
