amenshawn Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Hey all, I'm experiencing an issue where my custom CBBE body isn't staying consistent on my character when I put certain armors on, despite having built morphs for all the groups I can find. Then, conversely, on NPCs the custom body is there while they're clothed, but reverts to the default CBBE 'curvy' shape when they're nude. I know this is probably something simple that I've overlooked, but after beating my head against this all evening I need someone to point me in the right direction. I promise not to bother anyone again once I get this appearance disparity resolved. I'm just stumped, tired, frustrated, and need a hand. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
oldrayzor Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 The only explanation is that the body in the armor and your base "nude" body are different meshes. Start with the NPCs. What replacer are you using for the vanilla clothes? Caliente's?

It can be confusing because there are multiple meshes in various sub-directories. I simply create a subdirectory for my custom body, zip, name it "My Body" and then load it into Mod Organizer along with head, feet and hands. That way you can tract where it is in your load order and insure it doesn't conflict. If you have npc-replacer mods they often insert their own bodies.
amenshawn Posted July 9, 2019 Author Posted July 9, 2019 Okay, I've got this mostly solved aside from one issue. I'm using BeeingFemale for pregnancy and using the weight settings scaling setting for belly / breast growth. My only remaining issue with this is that the weight for the custom CBBE body I'm using for the NPCs in the game isn't displaying the appropriate size of belly for weight with clothing or armor on. Granted, I love the surprise of matchmakering a comely lass and finding out that she already appears roundly pregnant underneath all those clothes, but given this is a fresh start, none of the ladies in the game should be showing yet. So, is there a way to alter the default setting for all weights in the game to 0, then see if the body morphs do indeed engage over time after conception? Or am I simply going about this the wrong way?
RW311 Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 The problem is either with the outfit itself not having been built with this morph possible to avoid mesh distortion or it's an older reference body used. Also possible the pregnancy mod had not updated the npcs where you were before the outfit was removed so it didn't show up yet. How excessive the body morph can be is also affected by how it was created for bodyslide, so the belly may be large with naked body equipped but become smaller with another outfit that reduced the amount of morph possible in that area.

That last bit is exactly what I seem to be experiencing. The NPCs do appear to be first trimester when they're clothed, but then appear full term when nude. Is there any way to fix this or am I stuck with it?
RW311 Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 You can add missing bones and sliders and adjust slider value in outfit studio.
