Sim MIA in sex interaction

 So I’ve made sure all the settings is correct but I’m having an issue with my sim—-following through with a sex interaction with a npc. The npc ends up doing the dirty without my sim. Make sense?  I click on an object click wicked whims. Click whatever and then the npc sims goes where I request they go—-do the dirty, but my sim goes on like it never happened. They end up making food while this npc is doing the dirty on the floor. Major lag? Idk

 

No exception shows up in up in my sims file so I know that there is no bug with the game.

Hmm...can't say I have ever ran into this problem myself. I would make sure there is enough space around the object -- this is especially true if the lot you are using was built with moveobjects. 

 

Another thing you could try to do is reset your sim via command. resetsim <sim name>.

 

If those don't work then try travelling to another town and come back.

Tried all the suggestions. Even tried clearing the origins cache. Just so I’m clear about what the problem is: when I click on an object and click ww it gives me the option of who with. When I click on it, nothing happens. The sim I clicked on then goes to proceed to that object and does the dirty. My sim, goes about doing anything else. I notice that a ww or woohoo logo does not even pop up in the what’s coming next.

Have you tried with just Wicked Whims in your mods folder? Nothing else

Yes it worked temporarily. Tried the next day and it was back to sims not interacting. I've followed all the troubleshooting suggestions too. Even deleted the saved game and started scratch. Worked temporarily and its now back to not working.  I haven't downloaded or used any other cc since the start of the problem.

First, I'll assume a current legal and freshly patched game.  

 

Second, do you have instant teleport to sex location on, or walk and talk? I have teleport on, and sometimes it takes a few seconds for one or the other, or even both, sims to actually appear at the location. Especially if it's in certain areas of the lot. I've only seen the solo act where it's supposed to be a couple once, and it was the NPC who glitched out instead. Poor player sim ended up humping air instead of the maid.
