Conflict detection

Are there any good utility programs that can detect mod conflicts ?

 

I've tried using the FOMM one on new vegas, but it shows a progress bar which simply vanishes once complete.

There's this funny, little known program called FNVEdit. Not many people use it, but from what I understand it supposedly finds AND fixes conflicts through something called a "merged patch", whatever that is.
