Looking for advice because of CTD

Hey guys.

 

so lately I switched from NMM to Vortex. That basically went down well, the were some minor issues. A "bigger" one was some hair packs had to be reinstalled several times because ingame it went purple (a known issue). That was a few days ago, I started a new game -played for about 2 hours.

 

Thing is, now I suddenly cannot load any savefiles anymore. Everytime I try to I get CTD and I cant figure out why.

The only way to play is to start a new game and play untill i get CTD for another reason or I quit the game. Then next time I cant load that save files either... which is pretty catastrophic.

 

Has anyone else encountered sth. like this or got an idea how that could happen?

its strange to me seeing the game work with a new start but never being able to load a savegame... I find it strange as well for not having changed anything except reinstalling the hair...

it's mod x stuff that have highter priority than skyrim y stuff, and you need skyrim y stuff for mod x stuff, so ctd

it's because of that there's over 9000 topics that say to coc qasmoke before loading a save

 

that don't ctd because when you go to qasmoke from main menu, or helgen, or whatever, for now, your load order is ignored, skyrim.exe load this and that to put you there, once you are there, it start loading the rest of the load order, that isn't a ctd because skyrim y stuff was load to put you there

and that allow you to load the save with mod x mess, because skyrim y stuff is still in your ram when it's load, so it's fine now, even if lower priority

You have "Alternate Start" installed? Then try to start a new game, press R to get out of character creation, then load the savefile you want to load.

I have to do that everytime I restart my game. Idk why but after that everything work perfect.

Thats what I tried first. in this case it doesnt work.
