hello, Wendy,

hope this message finds you well.
because it is a complex process, you better read some of the posts written in this blog; the author, Psalam, explains thoroughly the mechanics of Lovers Lab, including the uploading and downloading of files. in addition, Ark of Truth published a post on How to Upload Mods to the Site's Download Section.

if all you want is to share a Mod or CC you created as a post, you may use the post's file sharing system:

1. create a new topic in the section that best suit the file you would like to share (in your case, it would be The Sims 3 Downloads section). to do so, click on the green button " Start New Topic " located on the page's top right area;

2. a new topic will be created and you will have to give it a Title; it's also a good idea to write a concise explanatory text about the file you'll upload;

3. when you're done writing the text — while still in the writing area — hit the [Return Key] at least once, then click on the file to be shared (it should probably be on your desktop) and drag it to the section below the writing area;

4. as soon as the file is uploaded, this section U.I. will change; click on the "plus sign" located on its right side to insert the file into the write area;

5. after the file is inserted, your topic should look something like this;

6. click on the "Submit Topic" button on the middle-bottom of the page.

that should do it, Wendy;
hope this helps.

cheers.
