Unable to use mods

I seem to be unable to use mods that replace texture and meshes. I do not know why as i have archive invalidation turned on. The mods i am trying to activate are mostly armor mods and face mods.

Try toggling archive invalidation off and then back on a couple of times.

 

Also if you are running Vista, Win7 or Win8 then make sure you did not install steam into its default spot (program files directory). If you did then you are fighting UAC and permissions problems and won't win.

 

If you did install steam to the default location, don't panic. You just need to move it and that does not require re-downloading anything.
