Whicked Whims - Adding Peeping Tom Trait

It didn't work out, I don't quite understand what part you mean

Step 1 CTRL Alt shift to open cheat window.

Step 2 Type in the cheat testingcheats true

Step 3 Shift click on target sim 

Step 4 select "Cheat Sim Info" on the Pie if not there select More and look in next group there are 3 pies.

Step 5 In "Cheat Sim Info" select add Trait

Step 6 Scroll all the way to bottom of list now 2nd selection from Bottom up is Trait Window Peeping NPC select it.

I am having an issue where none of my peeping sims will spawn, is there a fix for this? I have the spawn rate turned all the way up and still they won't spawn.

How long did you wait in game ? And you checked if they really have the trait ?

yes but they are still not spawning, do they have to be a non-played household

No, that is irrelevant.

Ok, so you need to consider a few things first: 

1. You need to wait a few ingame days sometimes for it to happen.

2. Are the peeping toms somehow related to the sims on the lot ? Then they may need the incest trait, aswell as the sims on the lot. 

3. Are there even windows where the peeping sims can look through ? So are the windows too high up or maybe not even accessible ?

4. With some curtains it is not possible for peeping sims to look through the window. (Don't know if this still applies with the new updates)

5. You may want to turn up the frequency at which peeping sims come to your lot, if you haven't already done that. 

6. Look into your settings which sims are even availible for sex. See to it, that they are in the given parameters.

7. Also look into your settings, if the peeping toms are even activated. (!)

 

Go through these steps and see if the problem still persists.

 

Other mods shouldn't be possible to intervene with wicked whims.

where do you go in the settings to check for sex availability? Including giving proper parameters? How many in game time do I need to wait? How do you add the incest trait just in case?

Ok first question: I actually just meant that you should be sure, that teens can have sex with adults or somthing like that. In the Default settings, that is turned off.

You can find it under Wicked Whims Settings/Sex Settings/Sex Interaction Settings/Teens Sex Switch. That should be checked.

 

Like I said before few INGAME DAYS. Like 1-2 days. You don't always need this. Sometimes it works right away.

 

The incest trait is an award trait. You go under Aspirations, then in the rewards store. It costs 1000 Points.

I waited 2 in game days and still have not shown and I went through your check list above and still nothing. do i need to turn on react to sex and nudity? Should I reset all wicked whims setting back to default? Do I need to turn off NPC sims being peeping? I am at a loss here why they wont spawn. is it becasue of Nisira wicked perversions? I have also added more peeping sims to the base peeping sims family, is that an issue too?

Well you know what, I really don't know at this point what is wrong. Maybe uninstalling wicked whims and reinstalling it should work. Maybe even start a new game. See if that works.

It was something so simple it is stupid, I had to change the sexual/gender preferences of my sims to get them to spawn! If anyone has a problem similar to what mine was, try doing that.

I've got a problem there is no the "Cheat Sim Info" option on the list, i did step by step, i dont know if i got a broken version of WW i gonna try to reinstall the mod maybe.

This thread helped me alot and as a sidenote you can add the trait to a sim you do not control as well. To do this you need the sim's ID and the sim must be on the lot, then you do the following:

Testingcheats on

Type sims.get_sim_id_by_name [First Name] [Last Name]

For example:
sims.get_sim_id_by_name Tina Peeping

You should now have the ID number of that sim.

 

You then add the ID number the sim has after the usual command described above.

For example:

traits.equip_trait WickedWhims_Trait_Peeping_NPC_Sim_Hidden [ID number]

 

Again, the sim must be on the same lot as your controled sim.

I also tried that, I don't have that either. Just use my way, that should still work. Sadly even in the new update there is no easy way to add the trait.
