ShajinE Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Hey, here is a funny thing that happened while I was playing. So, when I was playing everything was going fine with my sim on vacation. Then for some reason he decided he did not want to sleep. Bed, couch/loveseat, etc... I imedately thought that there was a glitch with the game. No warnings came up from your mod or BMD and nothing from core Sim game. So it frustrated me to a point that I gave up playing for the night and said, "something is probably needing to be updated." So I quit for the night and when I started the game up again low and behold your mod popped up saying to update it. So, it was funny for me that he refused to sleep, even though he needed to. I have a suggestion for you. Only a suggestion. If your mod actively checks for newest versions. Maybe have a pop up, like the warning pop up, saying to update even while a player is playing the game and not just at the load of the game. Is that possible? Anyways, thanks for all your time and hard work.

So anything that happens after that won't show until you restart the game. This is why some people don't get LE errors while in-game but notice them listed in their Mod folder afterwards.
TURBODRIVER Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 I don't really know how the sleeping story is related, which btw, I don't even see how it would be caused by a mod. But the reason I only check for the version once and only at the start is to not make things seem shady... I guess. A mod really doesn't need to keep connecting to the internet constantly, and I would prefer for it not to be the case when I'm playing myself. This sure can be frustrating when it takes someone 10 minutes to load the game, but all it takes is to check the patch notes, and if nothing there seems important to you, update after you finish playing.
ShajinE Posted June 16, 2019 Author Posted June 16, 2019 Here is an up date. The sleeping story was just funny to me. Just one anomaly that happen that I found funny and wanted to share. However, here is a revealment. I was playing last night again and the non sleeping quirk happened again. I don't remember what time it was but between 9 pm and 11 pm Mountian time. Were you moving or updating WW at that time? If so then I believe that when you are moving files or updating it does have an effect in game. At least for me and the LL version. I did shut down my game this time after my sim decided he did not want to sleep. I restarted my game a few minuets later and he would sleep. So, could it be?
