I grabbed their Blender 2.49 scripting e-book during their free book offer. It definitely helped me get past that initial Python/Blender scripting hump.

I had considered that one, thought of you when I seen it too.

 

Out of the 10 there I settled on Blender 3D Basics, Blender 2.5 Character Animation Cookbook and Blender 2.5 Materials and Textures Cookbook.

 

The other 3 I got was on techie stuff; SOA, BPM, BPEL. Part of my work as a consultant, more than likely boring stuff for folks here.
