Resolved: Wrye Bash has a folder or file opened in another program running from MO2

All of the sudden I'm getting this error when running WB inside MO2. It runs fine outside but that doesn't really work for MO users.

I've done all sorts of things:

Reinstalled WB

Moved my temp folders

Updated Windows - same error prior to this

*updating to 1903 as I type...

Made a sacrifice to Bill Gates

Chanted the power of Gates compels you

I'm at a loss to this and hoping someone has a fix for this...

Thanks

The latest official Wrye Bash has this error on Windows 10 if you don't update the OS.

Try using experimental version of Wrye Bash. https://github.com/Wrye-Code-Collection/wrye-bash/releases/tag/307.201904161810

So far I did not encounter any bugs and you can run it from MO2 as well as flag safely any esp plugin with esl flag that is eligible.

Spoiler

OMG you have incredible body like one out of CBBE bodyslide. :classic_biggrin:

Thank you for the quick post and the compliment...

I've even tried that to no avail. I saw on one post to update it to 1803, which I did... tried WB still same issue. Tried WB 307 same issue. Updating to 1903 now

I don't know why experimental Wrye Bash doesn't work for you out of MO2. You can always try downgrading the MO2. Previous version of MO2 did not have this issue i.e. pre 2.2.2 version.

I don't know. I'm still waiting for Windows to update.

Resolved...

I did move my temp folders to a new location. I have not moved them back to their default location.
I fully updated to Windows v1903
Reinstalled experimental 307 WB (not sure if this was needed but I did it)
Works...
