Is there an in-world way to have Sims move out?

Hi,

I'd like to know if there's an in-world way to have one or a few Sims of a familiy move out into a new home (other than Edit Town)

hey, DerPeter,

you might have to install NRaas Story Progression (if you haven't done already) then configure the Sims Options selection. since it is a rather complicated undertaking to explain the process here, it will be better if you go to the NRaas Story Progression Guide page (the FAQ page) and read about it.
