Soundfolder "rape" ignored.

Title says it all.

 

When raping an NPC, only files from the "normal" subfolder play, the "rape" folder is ignored. The files itself work when placed under "normal".

Upon deleting the "normal" folder, no sounds at all.

Tried different voicesets, tried different versions of Lovers with PK.esp, different RaperS.eps´s, dsiabled the extender, still I can´t get the "rape" folder to be used.

Looks like I´m missing something essential as always, any ideas?

Did you cast your sexual exploits spell and set your voices?

Sure I did.

Tried it with different voicesets aswell, currently it´s under NS1.

Ok, I looked and you are correct in that there are no "global" voice settings in lovers with pk rev96 (don't remember if there were in rev91). You can set your own voice and you can set an individual's voice, but it will be for both consensual and rape.

 

When I have time I will look to see if they pulled this out and put it in another plugin or if they removed the options and just have it default via a script. It is not something I will put a high priority on so you are welcome to take a peak at the esp\esm files scripts via the CS and browse the live door wiki site where the original Japanese versions are released (we obtain them from there and then translate them).

You are talking about rev96. So, do you know a version where this actually works? Rapefolder for rape?

Doesn´t matter if I have to downgrade, I don´t have many plugins running anyway.

I honestly don't have a clue. You could try rev91 or scrounge around see if you can locate a rev89 somewhere and see if one of those had the feature.

And I was damn sure that it was possible to make use of both folders, since I found related posts in older topics...

Just be careful with rev89 as many of the current plugins may not work with it.

When you perform an act, for NPC where an individual sound is not assigned to, the sound of the default is used.

It is necessary for it to be installed in the following folders.

 

In the case of Female.

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\normal\1

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\normal\2

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\normal\3

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\normal\4

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\normal\5

 

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\rape\1

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\rape\2

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\rape\3

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\rape\4

Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns0f\rape\5

 

When there is not the sound at the time of the rape, a sound of Normal is used.

 

In the case of Male, please replace ns0f of the folder name mentioned above with ns0m.

Tried rev89 and 93, japanese versions, didn´t make a difference.

 

If I don´t have luck with that, I could still switch between 2 different soundsets...not the best solution, but meh.

Not sure what you mean. At this time, in the LoversSettings, I have the "individual voice set 1" in use.

It works, BUT only soundfiles from the "normal" category play, from Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns1\normal\1-5.

The rape folders are ignored, when I rape someone, "normal" sounds play.

In Data\sound\fx\lovers\ns1\rape\1-5 are sounds, but they don´t play. If I put these under "normal", they work.

 

My player character is male, if this makes any difference.

 

 

 

 

 

edit: found the solution, everythings fine now.
