Fall of the space core

Well since i am playing skyrim LE i decided to check the workshop on steam and found the add-on fall of the space core.

Does anyone knows how to get it to work?

The only thing i have is a file called portal2mod.ckm and that's it the fix had something to do wiuth creation kit but no options there to load the add-on.

Does anyone have the proper files?

I hope someone can help since i wanted to test the add-on.

As noted on the space core workshop page, though I wonder how soon is "as soon as possible," as there isn't any mention of when Valve became aware of the issue:

Look if they don't fix the problem then i will take the files to other forums and have the fix.

Besides as i mentioned is not illegal since is not piracy is a mod and mods are meant to be shared.

No fix at all the only thing you get when downloading the mod from workshop is the friking file i uploaded but no intruction whatsoever,they mentioned you have to use creation kit and blah blah blah but creation kit doesn't have any option to load ckm files even if is the format of creation

is been already 6 years since release and yet most people only give fake instructions or complain for sharing the file you download from steam workshop even if is a useless file that nobody has been able to use (the only people who got the real mod to date are youtubers and they don't share the real mod since are shitty people)

 

There is no point going to steam and signup to grab a mod if the mod is fake or doesn't work

No, you don't - if you have an actual steam account and a legal version of Skyrim, all you have to do is fill in a support ticket saying you having the ckm issue with the space core mod.

 

The mod is neither fake nor doesn't work as I've used it in the past. Also, Portal is one of Valve's titles, so uploading their assests is pretty much illegal.

Look mate steam is a pain in the ass the answer they gave to me was "use creation kit and blah blah blah" not a real answer,in fact is the same problem in steam most mods there barelly work but is because they aren't the proper format just a ckm file.

 

According to your logic most mods are illegal since they take parts from other games.

CBBE body taken from illusion games which make it illegal,assets property of Illusion

Tera elin race taken from Tera online (game still active) which make it illegal,assets property of Bluehole Studio.

 

I could mention more but those two are the most promoted mods here and both are illegal according to what you said,so they souldn't be shared

 

Until someone mention the fix the mod will keep being fake,besides the solution steam gives are shit.

 

Solution by users

.- go to steam unsubscribe shutdown steam subscribe again and start steam ready you get the proper files (done won't work)

.- put a claim they will send you a mail with instructions (done they just send you to download skyrim Creation kit)

Try another ticket, and see if someone there can actually give you a proper answer.

 

Though you aren't missing much, a space core lands in the collapsed house outside of Whiterun, you carry it around for bit, it says a few voice lines. Then you piss off a giant, and should the giant hit the space core and the core flies in to the sky, it'll say "spaaaace." Mod done - nothing to get upset about.

 

I am under the impression that cbbe textures were custom made, but I use unp textures so I don't know one way or another, and I'm doubtful about your claim, unless you can provide proof.

 

Bluehole studios gave permission for various assets to be used, much like CD Projekt did with some of their assets, the situplation being that no money was to be made off them.

but you know something valve has allowed the usage of their resources and has always being allowed.

 

for example SFM adult movies they use valve assets they make profit yet you don't see valve taking down the videos or the money they made.

If you've not been able to fix this in six years, then that is on you.

 

Just because you can't get it to work doesn't mean they are broken, otherwise more people would be stating that they can't get it to work.

let's see all the how to get it to work got deleted kinda weird.

suscribed doesn't meant they got it to work.

 

What is best is that a modder grab the file and make the conversion to the corresponding bsa and esp with that file you can even port it SE.

 

Have you seen the facebook communities trying to decifer how to make this mod to work nope those are thousands of users unable to get it to work,have you seen the chans about this addon and what should be done to get it to work i doubt it there you have thousands of users more,did you see the deleted steam workshop comments that asked how to get it to work i doubt it,did you see the reddits of how to get it to work nope i doubt.

There was only one person who did the job of creating the bsa and esp and sharing it but his file got reported each time in fact i can bet most people that had it working grabbed his files since there is no way to get it to work officially as he said "those files are a temporary fix until bethesda or valve fix the problem of people getting a ckm file instead of the proper mod files"

 

Steam is shit and will always be besides they removed support for LE with release 1.9.32 and removed the LE version now they have support only for SE and saddly this mod doesn't work for that version (steam won't make the download) 

 

Those numbers are almost the same as lolicon related stuff
