PraetorSylvor Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 My game is plagued by people with solid black eyelashes. Imperial, Breton, Redguard, Altmer and Bosmer NPCs en PCs have this issue. I tried reïnstalling Roberts Male, OCO v2, the various patches and their body compatibility patches. Nothing seems to help. fejeena Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 eyelashes are black. eyelids have skin color. Have you checked the eyelashes texture. Vanilla Oblivion has no eyelashes. Also Roberts male does not add eyelashes. Many custom races have eyelashes. OCO lashes textures are in textures\characters\nuska\eyelashes\lash.dds There must be a lash.dds and a lash_n.dds the lash.dds looks like Spoiler And the "nuska" folder is a OCO folder, no other Mod should have the same name, so lashes meshes and textures (normally) can not be overwritten.
PraetorSylvor Posted May 13, 2019 Author Posted May 13, 2019 I have those lashes, they look the exact same: I have lash.dds, lash_f.dds, lash_f_n.dds, lash_m.dds, lash_m_n.dds and lash_n.dds lash_f_n.dds, lash_m_n.dds and lash_n.dds are blank however.
fejeena Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Yes the _n.dds (normal maps) looks blank. Still can not imagine how your lashes look in game. Solid black? Screenshot please. Have you checked the esp after OCO in your load order if they shange the laches? The meshes or textures path. The OCO lashes use the "Tongue" slot of the race. Maybe a Mod in load order after OCO change the textures path but you still have the OCO lash meshes. Check all the esp below OCO, also the Bashed Patch. You can do it with TES4Edit. Load OCO and esp below OCO in TES4Edit. Then you can open the OCO tree and then races and click a race. Now you see in the right TES4Edit window all esm/esp that change anything in that race. Left side ie the Oblivion.esm and the Mod/esp that is most right is the one that is used in game (last Mod wins) Check the tongue Spoiler I use a older TES4Edit version, I do not like the newest versions, so it can look a bit different when you use another version. You still have lashes in your game so it seems you still use the OCO lashes. But the textures are wrong.
PraetorSylvor Posted May 14, 2019 Author Posted May 14, 2019 Here are some examples of how the eyelashes look like.
fejeena Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Ok. you have the lash meshes but the wrong textures. (Yes you have the right textures in the oco nuska folder but your game does not use the textures ) Have you checked your esp below OCO ? If the textures path is changed by one of the esp ? That's the only reason I can imagine why you have wrong textures.
PraetorSylvor Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 Oh my dear fucking god I'm an idiot. So, uh, the IntegrationIntegrated+OCO.esp is a patch for OCO and Integration, not OCO v2 and integration. My bad. Still, without the TESIVEdit peek I wouldn't have noticed. Thanks, fejeena!
