eeeteee Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Been trying to solve this visual glitch for a while now. Not sure if it is a spell artifact or something from "Shout Like a Virgin" (last mod loaded since its appearance ... everything else is working fine). After doing a little research in https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/872861-tutorial-removing-unwanted-magic-effects-from-the-player/ I thought it may be related to the DRAUGR GLOWING EYE or ARMORED SKELETONS MOD GLOWING EYES glitches and tried adding/removing spell IDs to no avail (heard that the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch may have deactivated this ability). RaceMenu doesn't show the glow when viewing/editing the character, however, upon save/exit from it, the glowing reappeared. Tried using the"Uncursed" Ring of Hircine to turn into a werewolf and back. The Red eye glow disappeared when turned back to human. Saved game and reloaded the game and the Red eye glow reappeared. If anyone has experienced this glitch and have any way to get rid of it, I would be most appreciative. Definitely a showstopper for screenarchery
eeeteee Posted May 14, 2019 Author Posted May 14, 2019 After trying player.addspell/removespell on all spells listed using "help abilities 4" I was going to give up till I found a reference to Directors Tools in that same thread. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/872861-tutorial-removing-unwanted-magic-effects-from-the-player/page-28#entry8342056 The Director's Tools can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10431/?tab=description The Key as mentioned to get it to work is to: 1. Install it per mod directions 2. Favorite the Director's Tools (Manual) under Apparel and assign it to a Hotkey, then save game, reload game (if not done, menu will not appear) 3. Hit the Hotkey assignment and the Director's Tool menu will appear. 4. Select "Character Options" and scroll down to "Reset All Visual Effects" and select it. Eye and mouth red glow are finally gone ! ... never did find out what the cause was but, however, this tool is a godsend and also great for screenarchery. How to add a HotKey Spoiler
