DiscoSamurai Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) How do I make this work on a single sim instead of all of them? I can't find the option to do that (or can't recall if it had one). ? Also, Wild Die? Your additions are wonderful! Thank you for contributing. ❤️ Edited July 25, 2022 by DiscoSamurai Wanted to thank Wild Die
wild_die Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 (edited) @DiscoSamurai- If you recall the opening post, you start with "Settings" for MCCC to tell the game to only generate Sims with outfits from the MC Dresser file ( [MC Command Center] >> [MC Population] >> [Population Settings] >> [Run Dresser] ). If you don't do that, Sims will spawn in with the regular random outfits. And thank you. I'm trying to provide a couple more styles, but work has been very uncooperative. However, it appears to me the mod you are using is outdated. Also, the dresser files are usually .cfg-files, but the files you download are .txt-files. Remember to copy all outfits into your mc_dresser.cfg file. Do not replace it with the .txt-file, as neither mod can work with that!
Sugahxbabe Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 For some reason once I put in the Outfit Filter into my MCCC i couldnt load my game, it crashed. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong. I did have the Mrmakkon dresser file in my folder.

As far as I know it does not. However, you can try using WineBottler. It allows you to run Windows-based programs on a mac. I suggested it in the past, but I don't own a mac, and no one got back to me, so I don't know if it actually works.
b0nez Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 J wondering, any chance this will be updated with clothes from the new packs?
wubby901 Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 any idea if this mod still works and if it will be updated as it says wip
Jazon Jonez Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 This mcdresser.cfg concept is still the greatest when it comes to making a sims world bearable.. lol Huge kudos to 2cool4u_1 🙏 Understand that the file might not get updated anymore. Just wondering if there is any way we could update the Outfit Filter with new packs without any coding / modding knowledge? It just happens that there are still a few players who share their mcdresser.cfg with newer packs. But for players who don't have all the packs, it's a shame that we just have to skip their effort 😐
StrikingStar Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Does this still work or am I using features from MCCC and not even noticing if this is actually working?
Zenolalia Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Hello! I've never done modding stuff before, but the Outfit Filter tool is so crazy useful??? It deserves an update, and apparently I'm the guy for the job lol So, I extracted the pack/item relationships from the newer packs (everything that isn't marketplace kits). I added them to the attached CASList.txt. I think it worked great; certainly the resulting mc_dresser.cfg file is working in all of my test saves. But I cannot emphasize enough that I am not a modder and barely a coder. This has NOT been QA tested. So please keep a backup copy of the original CASList.txt. Then just overwrite the existing CASList.txt in the Outfit Filter folder with this new one. Run the filter as normally, and check off the packs you own, then add the new packs' 4-character codes (EP10, GP09, etc) to the "additional packs" text box in the original Outfit Filter application. I am also attaching a text file with a "full install" code list you can copy directly if you have every pack, and with the pack codes and names listed for convenience when making custom text lists if you don't have all the packs. Finally, if anyone wants to update the CASList.txt file again at a later time, just a head's up: It is WHITESPACE DELIMITED NOT COMMA SEPARATED. If you feed the application comma separated data, it will not crash out, but it will make an empty MC_dresser.cfg file. I will try my best to support any questions anyone has, but again, seriously: I barely know anything about this stuff. CASList.txt Pack Code List.txt
