Framework and how to get FINS working.

I know it has a listed process alas I am tech challenged to say the least. That's why I play games not make them. Leave making mods to the pros. What frame work do I use for Skyrim Legendary Edition? I might be trying the wrong one. Might post more inquires when needed here. Basically I could use a list of the proper down load and install order of mods and mod requirements for the ground work of mods that come after that.

There is no good single answer to this, since it all depends on what you even want to have in your game in the first place.

Since you are in the adult-mod section, it's likely a given that you want to have a sex mod, but do you want somehting more cinematic like OSex or something better integrated into the gameworld like SexLab?

Do you want creature sex, submission mechanics, arousal mechanics, alternatives to dying, mods that will alter the body's appearance due to food or sexual needs? Do you want to just use the original races or have custom races added?

Do you have a high-end PC that can handle a lot or do you need to be careful about overloading the game?

There are just too many different mods to just say "use these" and be done without knowing anything about what you want.

Though I guess you can never go wrong with SkyUI (overhaults the user interface) and the "Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch" (fixes a ton of issues that Bethesta never bothered to fix).

Oh, also this page: https://wiki.step-project.com/Main_Page is quite useful.

To be real I want skyrim to do things that can't be done irl. So clearly sex mods preferably not human. Not sure exactly what I will use right away. For the moment. I just want FINS to work and I am not T-Posing or game not loading. I fallowed the list on the frame work page and I get an error message in game and t-posing. So clearly I did them out of order even if I started at the top of the paragraph and worked my way down the list of instructions. I figured once I got the game running with mods from vortex not T-posing. I would try to work in another mod. Modding in skyrim is much harder then it is for other games I play. As the programs they use operate very differently. Thus I am lost on how to fix my pose problem.

Actually there is a good single answer to this: the second link in my sig. Although if you're just starting to mod your game, the first one might be better to start with.

When modding Skyrim it's highly recommended to use a mod manager and the first link has guides how to set up Mod Organizer, it's a powerful tool that will be very handy in future, but it requires you to read/watch/learn some stuff in the beginning, once you got it it's rather repetetive than challanging, though. Alternatives would be NMM/Vortex which are easier to handle in the beginning, but harder to fix stuff later.

In theory it's possible to install everything manually, but that just combines the disadvantages of MO and NMM, i.e. you need to read a lot before you even start and it's a pain in the ass to fix any mistakes you made. And you already learned that you will make mistakes, that's the common first step. ;)

I'd recommend you go at least through the guide from the second link and check for yourself what you might have missed (or uneccessarily added, the sexlab guide is a bit outdated in parts), if that doesn't help you to fix it come back. For T-posing problems it's always helpful to post the log FNIS creates (or read it yourself, the error is mentioned there 100%, but sometimes non-obvious to spot if you have no clue).

Thank you both. I will give this a shot on both accounts and try my best. Should something arise and I have no clue. I will post the log here and hope somebody can help with that.
