What game changing mods?

Doesnt need to be fully game changing, I like vanilla skyrim. But it also gets sorta boring after the 6th time. Ive downloaded some of the bigger quests on nexus. But monster mod is doa, so I lost the fun of new monsters. I dislike deadly dragons. Meh, whats fun and extra and wouldnt change the game so much as to affect other mods?

Lots of good mods without breaking immersion.

It's a very good assortment/collection of mods that really help out with Gameplay by improving many aspects and addressing many issues.

Have you tried any magic mods? Sword and board was my typical playstyle, but it got kind of boring after awhile. I downloaded some new caster armors because the robes in the game are pretty bland compared to the metal and leather stuff. After that I grabbed Apocalypse Spell Package. It adds a bunch of spells that are interesting mechanically and not just more fire, which is what a lot of magic mods seem to be.

 

Once I was set I cranked my difficulty all the way up and now I have to think my fights through and constantly switch out and manage my spells if I don't want to get killed as soon as a bandit looks at me. I'll probably drop it once I find some newer and shinier mod to keep me happy for a day, but it's fun for now.

 

Modding in Skyrim is also relatively new. Wasn't the Construction Kit just released earlier this year? Modding has made leaps and bounds since then, and it should only get better as time goes on.
