EkasBadviper Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Hello all. I've been modding Skyrim off and on for some time now, and, while I won't pretend I've been the fastest learner, I have been learning, I think anyway. ^^' I've even managed to successfully port an oldrim mod to SE. One thing however, still eludes me, and my searches have turned up either things that weren't exactly the same problem that I have, or didn't seem to work. I have an issue where, when using modded sets of armor sometimes the characters' wrists or ankles will be see through, as if the mesh is incomplete. This only seems to happen when the character is wearing some, but not all slots for a set of armor. Now, I've tried rebuilding the cbbe hand and feet meshes, but to no avail, and I'm just about at wit's end on what else to try without completely breaking everything. Thanks in advance for any help.
OnyxMage Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Did you convert the outfits to the new cbbe body for SE or did you just run it through the optimizer? Cbbe for oldrim and cbbe for SE are 2 completely different bodies and trying to use them together leads to wrist, ankle seams, and cliping around the arm and leg areas.
EkasBadviper Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 Thanks for the reply. ^^ I am using the SE version of cbbe though, so I'm certain it's not that. Well, as certain as one can be when they've got a metric crapton of mods installed.
SpyVsPie Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 For whichever outfit piece is the main/ body piece (ie the piece that uses slot 32, generally the shirt or bra) load the project in outfit studio, select the reference body, click the partitions tab at the top right, delete "calves" and "forearms", click apply, save the project, rebuild in bodyslide.
EkasBadviper Posted April 19, 2019 Author Posted April 19, 2019 Ah! Thank you! That seems to have done the trick. At least with the armor sets I've tried it on so far. They're not all from the same mod, so time will tell I suppose. ^^' So, it was building meshes with arms and legs that were too short or something to that effect? Now that that's taken care of, I have a new question, if it's okay. I'd prefer not to clog up the forum with two topics if I can avoid it. Does anyone know how to add foods that are introduced from other mods, into realistic needs and diseases? I have a mod that adds a recipe equivalent to feeding on blood for vampires, made from the human flesh and salt pile items, but, lorewise, I feel like it would also fulfill hunger for mortals too. Thanks again. ^^
