Question Regarding Adult (sex) Mods

Greetings and Salutations!

 

Alright, so I've been lurking about for a bit now and have a question. Normally I keep my head poked in over on the Skyrim side of things, seeing as that's what I play a lot.

 

I've dusted off my old copy of FO3 and decided to play around with it, beautifying it, etc...

 

I'm wondering if there is anything difinitive that is considered the 'best' sex mod for Fallout 3? I know there is Sexout for FoNV... But I've not found anything (yet) for FO3 that is close.

 

I've seen Animated Prostitution, Seducing Women, etc... and if nothing else will probably use those.

 

but I'm looking for opinions and knowledge before I do, as to if there are any other mods available that are better, or, as I said, are considered the 'best' mods.

There is Sexus but compared to Sexout, Sexus is just so limited.

 

Steam normally has New Vegas on 75% sale during Christmas

I'm adding it to my Christmas List for this year! And will probably just go out and buy it if I don't get it...

 

In the meantime, thanks for your opinion (I'll keep that in mind ), but is there anything besides what I've seen (sexus, etc) for FO3?

As much as I hate to say it, but you should probably skip the adult mods for FO3. Most of them are so buggy, that they can really ruin your game.

 

Animated Prostitution was the humble beginning of adult mods for FO, but mods like Lovers(Oblivion), Sexual Innuendo and Sexout (both F:NV) are lightyears ahead of it. You can give it a spin to see if there is something in there for you. But if you do, I'll strongly recommend to stay clear of it's "compatibility" patches for the non-graphic plugins, like seducing women and wasteland player. Those are actually better in a lot of ways, but lack the visual component of AP(no animated scenes, just fade-to-black).

 

In short, there is unfortunately nothing that comes even close to the complexity of the likes of Sexout,SI or Lovers for Fallout 3. I'd stick with the non-graphic plugins like seducing women or wasteland player and wait for christmas;)

Thanks very much, Batman ! I wish there were more options for Fo3, but since there isn't, at least now I know that and know what I should go with instead.

 

I appreciate your recommendation too, not to use the compatibility patches. I'm ok without the visual element (though naturally that makes everything better in the long run), and I'll probably try it without...might find I enjoy it. Sometimes Adding in a bunch of them seems to cheapen the experience.

 

Either I'm gonna wait for Christmas, or go out and buy FONV before hand, if I just can't wait ....

 

Anyway, thanks a bunch! If anyone else has any comments, I'm still open to hearing them, though I've pretty much got my answer.

I actually disagree with the previous views on FO3's mods. They may not be as advanced as NV, but they are far from bad, and i've never had stability issues either.

 

AP for FO3 is a lot... bigger than its NV and Skyrim counterpart. Plenty of animations. The FO3 version is almost a mini sexout.

 

Sexus isn't bad either, as a system, even if it only uses two poses (for humans that is) for combat rape. I never found the two animations a problem. They are enegetic and fairly 'realistic' poses for the situations. I have had problems getting the other aprts to work (sex on beds, ect) in more recent versions, but that aside i've never had too many problems.

I've been happy with FO3's Animated Prostitution thus far. Animations aren't the best, admittedly, especially compared to the animations used in Sexout, but I'm happy with it regardless.
