Skyrim SE crashing in cities and when animations start

I ran FNIS, Loot, cleaned required files with SSEEdit, and tried to tweak load order to remove conflicts. But I'm very noob, so I wonder if anyone has insights into the following mods and mod priority order as shown in the left pane of Mod Organizer 2. Ignore the first two -- I was experimenting with merging then couldn't get rid of them. They're not activated anyway. The "FNIS Custom" at the end is the custom mod created after running FNIS, and it is active.

 

Indoor spaces don't seem to be a problem, but I crash whenever I enter outdoor space in any city, and also as soon as Sexlab animations start. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

The official DLC should be sorted better. Place them as Dawnguard then Hearthfires then Dragonborn, You dont need Realistic Ragdolls and Force. XPMSSE has come with the default level of Force built into it for some time now. When you install XPMSSE, make sure you pick HDT skeleton. Rerun FNIS after. with the top two boxs checkmarked along with any others that are needed. If there is still alot of crahes, you will need to prune some mods out, untill you find the culprit. I think there is a newer version of Clean up your corpses with better fixes. You may or may not already be using it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24026

Many thanks, Sladen, for the general thoughts and specific mod notes, none of which I knew. I'm sure you're right about paring down too. I axed about 90 mods and still couldn't fix the game, and wondered if I might have corrupted files or game. So I just uninstalled everything and will build from scratch, noting your advice.
