El Snag

So I want to make 2 custom followers (male/female version of same thing) and I have a great LORE FRIENDLY backstory and everything, but I'm hitting a roadblock or SNAG, during the creation process.

 

My idea is that these followers will be Argonian twins (same egg, much wow) born during an eclipse (Tamriel has 2 moons, so eclipses must happen, right?) under the shadow sign so both trained as Shadowscales.  They'd be sneaky assassin types.  Fun on a scaley bun.

 

The problem I am encountering, is making their custom equipment.  I want to have them use daggers with a poison (damage over time) and a paralyze effect.  I am unsure of how to put multiple effects on equipment with the Creation Kit.  I'm sure there is a 'right way' and a 'better way' but so far all I got was ridiculous OP paralyze and/or poison and I'm not really going for that.  :-/
