Nymra Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Might be I am just stupid, but I now tried so many fixes that I dont even know any more what I did and what not... From what I understand the problem of pixelated/blocky shadows comes from a combination of ini settings and setting the shadow quality in skyrim launcher to MEDIUM. Now I am using Mod Organizer 2 and it seems the changes I make in the launcher have zero effect on the game. But I also did not find a comprehensive guide on how to manually change the shadow settings to "Medium" in the MO2 Profiles INI files for skyrim. I am also using ENBoost (without graphic modification!) because I use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63839/?tab=posts instead of an ENB. Before I had an ENB and the shadows were nice. But the performance hit of ENBs is too much for me I am at wits end at the moment. My ini files are attached. Screens are made with the inis active.
