Another one of those "conflicting body part slot" question

So I'm having one of them bodypart slot conflict thingies. Y'know, put on outfit 1, then put on outfit 2, turns out outfit 1 is blocking/hiding outfit 2 or vice versa cuz they use the same bodypart slot.  In this case, Outfit 1 is Remodeled Armor by CT77, and Outfit 2 is Mini Bikini by Gomaperopero & Andreis. I used Bodyslide to turn pretty much all of Outfit 1's meshes bottomless, so I can put on Outfit 2's c-string and whatevers. Or other outfit mods that occupy around the hip area. Said issue happened so I checked around the forums here for help. I've seen threads having a similar issue, but due to how utterly amateurish I am with Outfit Studio, nifskope, creation kit, and SSEEdit, I decided maybe it's to just start a new thread. Some people can figure out how to work around their problem by reading a thread similar to their issue, but I'm more of a person who follows order by the letter. I'm worried that I might break something due to misinterpreting terminologies or running into complications (ie "WHERE'S THE X?! THE GUIDE SAID TO DO X BUT I DON'T SEE/HAVE IT!!" - me).

So here's my options:

A) Go on SSEEdit, edit Outfit 1 and remove all clothing that occupies slots 48 and 54. I tried doing this using SSEEdit to delete them one by one (which was really tiresome), but then I got frustrated and decided to go with Option B below. There has to be a more convenient way...

B) Edit outfit 2's slot to use a different slot (if only I knew EXACTLY how). I've been reading and studying guides that I need to use nifskope AND CK/SSEEdit to edit my choice of outfit's body slot to a different slot that's not in use (or used that often). I'm somewhat hesitant to do this because I've been reading up different threads on how to do this and... I'm confused and overloaded with conflicting info. I've read that not doing the step correctly can lead to an invisible body part, missing outfit texture, or something worse. There's also this Devious Devices slot usage reference, this nexus's bodypart explanation page, and Outfit Studio's partition tab dropdown menu that doesn't really help me out other than the fact that any slot not used in base game or in Devious Devices (in case I want to use DD in the future) is fair game. And then there's slot 60 and 61, which I heard has something to do with special effects, underwear, and/or first person gimmicks which that I don't understand.

C) You guys providing me a much less time-consuming, easier method that I don't know about (if I could even understand it).

So then, here are my questions:

On A) Is there a convenient was to edit the elements/values on SSEEdit? I have Automatic Tools for TES5Edit installed, and I use it to set item weights to 0 cuz screw the carry weight mechanic. Mass editing the weight value becomes a cinch since I could just right click on a list > apply script... > use script AT - quickchange, click OK > Replace | Data/Weight | * | 0.000000, click OK > voila. When it comes to editing which bodypart slot, I have no clue what the <path> should look like if I want to edit all the slot 54 nodes in Outfit 1 to a different slot. Or, if I want to purge both slot 48 and 54 section en masse (instead of rightclicking the section > click remove or highlight the section > press del key ad nauseum like an idjit), how do I do so conveniently?

On B) What are the EXACT steps to changing a slot value to a different slot? Which slot number would you recommend regarding my case?

On C) Do you guys have any easier methods? tips? advice?

To change a bodyslot in nifskope: NiNode -> NiTriShape (or NiTriStrips in some meshes) ->BSDismemberSkinInstance.  Either 1) right-click this and select Block -> Convert -> NiSkinInstance (removing all dismember data and preventing a lot of headaches of the sort you are having), or 2) under the BSDismemberSkinInstance, look to the block details and find the "Partitions" BodyPartList.  Open that and change the data to what you need from the drop-down.  This has to match what is being used in the ARMO and ARMA records to be visible.

If two outfits are conflicting and you think they shouldn't be, it may be that their priority data in the ARMA record is wrong.  In general, main body part (to be covered by other things) would be 5 or lower priority.  Most gloves, boots, etc, 10 or higher.

I typically make stockings, underwear, etc a 2, so virtually anything will mask them out if there is a conflict.

As for tips/advice: if this is something you will be doing a lot, come up with a body reference set that matches what you need, and then you know what to change things to (some, like 52 = underwear are pretty universal.  Others, are less predictable and may need to be modified to fit your needs.  For instance people using mods with facial piercings will tend to need a lot of slots for that and this diminishes the number available for other things.)  I typically switch BSDismber to NISkinInstance in all nifs because Skyrim doesn't use dismemberment info, and it only causes headaches later IMO.

I don't use automation tools because I am more selective and specific about what I add in.  I want to actively look at what is there and make sure it matches what I want.  I use xEdit for almost all of this.
