Ruffled Pigeon Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Steam Controllers work with everything. You can completely customize the controls and it can emulate keyboard input and mouse movement. As for if it will be an enjoyable experience depends. I mostly used to for playing games which aren't too reflex focused, and it worked very well there, I however wouldn't want to play say Counter-Strike with the Steam Controller, or any Controller for that matter. It should be fine with Skyrim though, the melee combat is really forgiving and you can always crank up the aim assist for archery and the likes. The only problem coming to mind are MCM Hotkeys due to the limited buttons on a Controller, but that affects all of them. Actually I think you can have multiple presets and toggle between them at the press of a button, so even that should be doable.
