Skyrim SE / Steam Automatic Updates

Hey guys! I bet someone has already thought of this and maybe it is even on this forum, seeing to as that it is a no-brainer... it just never occured to me until now. Set your bandwidth maximum to 16kb/s in Steam. That way you will be able to choose to stop the download before it completes and you will not have to wait until all your mods get updated or backup your exe-files constantly in fear of your game breaking ?

Yesterday I managed to stop the update, even though it started out of nowhere and today I managed to stop it just shy of 10MB left :-S Then it hit me.

If anyone does not know how to do this - you right click the game in the Steam games tab and press administer downloads if the download has begun already. In the top left corner of the image I have attached there is a little line of text where it says 16 kb/s click that and choose your bandwidth limit.

Common knowledge for many, but I hope that some of you who read this find it useful anyway!

Set the update option to only update when you run the game.  It won't run the update if you use the skse executable.

This is safer. I have already activated that option, but if you click the SKSE shortcut or enter the game through Vortex WITHOUT having Steam open first, it WILL start the download for some reason. I do not have Steam set as start automatically in Windows. I have no reason to start Skyrim SE through any other means ?
