[RELEASE] one handed corvo crossbow for skyrim fully functional

i've asked various ppl for tuts about ripping content from dishonored and finding the right files that i needed to rip. since nobody really helped me i found it out myself. and here it is. my 1st rip.

it is a really working crossbow and it uses this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23164

for now it only replaces a crossbow in this mod but i'm planning to make it a stand alone and record the sounds from dishonored so it has the dishonored crossbow sound.

 

the mesh is really buggy. but i couldn't fix that as i ripped it directly from dishonored.

i can't seem to figure out how to give these a custom sound. i've done everything properly only the sound doesn't show up ingame. i made it with audacity which always worked until now

do you think you could also rip corvo's gun ? we'd have the full panoply by then

yep i was going to do that too. as i want the gun myself. probably using this mod to add the gun to the game: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8533 then make changes so it has the dishonored gun sound

what about putting the pistol as another version of the one handed crossbow, so it has bullets as well? would that work? ive never made a mod before lol

for the sound problem i might suggest "dissecating" another mod in nexus such as Double barreled gun or Mosin Nagant as they do have custom sounds too. Open their esp through Ck and see how they input the sound and scripts for it.
