raptor4d4 Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 This is a glitch that many of us have encountered at one time or another when taking screenshots. When or after using the TFC command, we find ourselves unable to draw our weapons, attack or use spells. Many Powers are often unusable too. Personally I often get it when something glitches when I activate the TFC command or a sex animation finishes while TFC is still active. It's a fairly common glitch but to this day I haven't found a reliable fix for it beyond quitting the game entirely and reloading my last save. But since this glitch often strikes me after I've finished setting up a complex scene, I really don't want to redo everything. Has anyone found a reliable method of fixing this bug without having to quit the game? My research is coming up empty.
Veladarius Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Have you tried using the enableplayercontrols console command? SexLab by default enables player controls when it is done with a scene but if you are still in TFC it may not enable the controls fully. Also the command for disabling player controls used by some mods on items (especially DD) only disables certain controls such as using weapons or spells. A specific example I have of this happening is when using the Dwemer Milking machine in Milk Mod economy, if you are in TFC when it finishes it disables many controls as well and enabling the player controls again will fix it most all the time.

Sadly I have tried enableplayercontrols to no avail. For whatever reason it doesn't work when I try it. ?
wulfy1 Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 OK so this is an "out-there" sort of fix, but it works so far. I will generally do one of 4 things -enableplayercontrols 11111111111 - Zaz reset Ai controlled player thing - Stop all anims in SL, or reset the animation ability in A skyrim kiss. Lately these don't fix the kind of issue I have seen. I found today that if I have bathing in skyrim installed and set to not require water, I can use the bathe hotkey to force a reset of the player animation state/controls and it works to fix the TFC bug, at least it worked for me. Good luck ~Wulf
