Oblivion wont start after additional mods

With the above load order can you play or are you still having problems?

 

If you are still having problems then disable all Tamago esm\esp and start a new game and see if you can run then.

Do you have a ASUS sound card by any chance?

I have now tried disabling everything but the esm installs and still no luck. I have an Asus mother board but no idea if this has anything to do with my sound installs...

Go to you sound settings and nake sure you have GX mode disabled, if you have it.

Okay, I have now reinstalled the game (again!), and the approved mods. The savegames are working. I'm going through the install guide with a fine tooth comb, although I'm not really bothered about textures as long as the game and mods are functioning. I'm now about to install the Lovers with PK complete, then I will check the game again.

 

EDIT: Lovers/Tamago/Hiyoko are now all installed. Save game still good. Can initialise sex. Back to to yellow/blue blocks and occasional baldness - unless you're in real close. My male PC isn't undressing and can't seem to conclude the sex, even though the settings appear to be right. I will have another look later. Wrye is not suggesting any major conflicts at the moment so it just seems to be a case of tweaking.

Which female body did you install as your default body?

 

Also, using saved games is not wise unless you cleaned them first. You have to disable all lovers esm\esp files and then start the game, then load your save, then hit escape and make a new save, then exit the game. Now you can enable your lovers esm\esp files and start the game selecting your new cleaned save.

 

The other alternative is to start a new game.

If I am de/activating mods using Wrye Bash do I need to rebuild the Bash file? For some reason when I was clicking the esp's to reactivate them it deactivated Tamago Break and Tamago News...

Anytime you move, add to or take away esm\esp files in your load order you will have to rebuild your bashed patch. If I did not say so before, make sure all lovers\tamago esm\esp files are deselected when you do rebuild it.

Thanks. I've figured out a few of the issues. Even though the Lovers settings said to change the progression to the jump key, that seemed to be what was progression/orgasm in the sexual encounters. I've enabled it and it seems to be working. For some reason my character isn't shedding all his armour during sex, but I imagine that's a setting tweak.

 

I'm still getting the blue/yellow boxes when the lovers start going... *cough* faster, but I can cope with that for the time being. Finally I'm not sure how to use the LoversRaperS. If you could pass me links to topics on actual mod functionality and how to use them I'd appreciate it.
