[Solved] Extreme FPS drops in small houses

Hiall,

please help, I have this problem for 2 weeks now, and I can't solve it.

Whatever I do, the game tends to drop from 60 fps to 1-4 in indoor areas, especially in houses. I read and tried countless "solutions" for this, none worked. These solutions seem to work for a while, but then I enter a home and there goes the fps again.

I can play huge battles outsite Winterhold, 30+ zombies, dragon, magic, etc. I have Sands of Time and OBIS working at the same time and no fps issues during those big engagements. Then I walk into the unfurnished Breezehome and fps drops to 3.

Sometimes saving and loading fixes the problem, other times I have to restart the whole game.

Specs:

W7 Professional 64 bit

i7 3770K (4c/8t)

16GB RAM

GTX 1080Ti

Skyrim SE, fresh install, cleaned with SSEEdit.

MO2 v2.2.0beta3 (latest beta)

I tried:

1) Disable VSync from config and force 60 fps from NvidiaProfileInsperctor.

2) Disable Vsync from Nvidia Control Panel and force 60 fps from NvidiaProfileInsperctor.

3) Set iMaxDesired=50 in skyrimprefs.ini (it was on 3000)

4) Switch off al Shadows with Bethini

5) A tons of other settings with Bethini

6) Set the game on Performance mode in nVidia Control Panel

7) Reinstalled the game

? Restarted a game from scratch

9) Cleaned savegames

10) Tried to play on minimum settings.

11) Tried with and without enbseries

12) Monitored memory and processor: The game is using about 7GB from regular memory. All 8 corethreads work around 60-80 percent. Videomemory usage stayed under 7 GB (out of 11 GB) and the videocard was at 42 celsius temperature (very low).

Any idea?

There is a known issue with HDT SMP that results in behavior like this.

The only work around is save and load after entering the Cell.

Thank you, I have no idea why I couldn't find this solution. FInally I can play in peace.

Or use CBPC in the meantime, which is what I did after having the same issue in just about every major city/inn. The physics aren't as good, but I'd rather have stable fps...

Thank you, I aleady did. I lost some nice SMP clothing physics, but that's a small proce for the stable game.
