Nejik Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 2-3 years ago i used to have JoP which was a magnifiscent adittion to sex mods, Immersion was on the level! But now as far as i got is just simply seeing my body from 1st person. When sex anims start i cant see it from 1st person. Character just stands still and all i can see are shoulders. Would love to enjoy these spicy scenes from Sexlab mods from first person view again. So, please, if you have any idea, share it with me. Have all the SKSE, Frameworks, Animation loader, XPMS. Using CBBE body with CBPC physics.
lifewizard Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I don't know if you still need help. But I was struggling with this as well, and ended up settling with Improved Camera as my FP mod. It doesn't require a ton of armor patches, and downloads like a basic mod. It works pretty well with the current update, functioning as a reliable window to see SL animations through your character's eyes.

Digging through the reddit i found the beta 3 (in the comment section) have you tried it ?

Didn't know there was even a 2 to be honest! I found this thread in the comments section of a Youtube video by AI cave. I'll give it a go once I get my modlist fully up to date. I was using the first version for about a week with very few issues, the most annoying of which were that the camera would look at the opposite direction during some SL animations.

Never had the issue (im using beta 3) the only problem is height scaling will mess the camera position so i suggest to disable it in sexlab mcm, you might slighlity annoyed by misaligned actor but it barely noticable in first person
lifewizard Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I figured out my issue was likely due to the camera being centered at a particular direction, then the scene would do a 180 either right before animating, or after the first scene. I was only able to fix it by manually rotating the scene. I now realize, though, that I have difficulty with animations that should have the camera pointed skyward. Doing a cowgirl type one as a male, for instance, would keep the camera leveled as if my character were standing, yet I'd be unable to raise my camera all the way--so I'm stuck staring at the floor. I notice now though that I haven't uninstalled JOP entirely, reading the beta 3 post. So I'll give that a go and see if it smooths things out. Edit: The full uninstallation didn't seem to do anything. I also realized that rotating the scene did the trick with animations requiring that the PC look up. As previously mentioned, looking at the way how the animation starts in certain animations, I notice they are looking one direction, and do a 180 for some reason, including with that issue involving the character starring at the floor. I suppose this could be fixed by manually removing that twist by whatever way animations are made in the first place (I'm really new to this). Another easy fix is by simply not running animations that do that rotation. There are many variations of the same position. Otherwise, the mod's great all around for both regular gameplay and SL animations.
