[REQUEST] Can someone port DVA - Dynamic Vampire Appearance to Skyrim SE?

The author of the mod said that he would be porting the mod, but it's been more than 5 years and no word from him.
One guy even gave instructions on how to do it, but due to limited data plan :( I can't download the necessary stuff at the moment.

Download mod manually to desktop. Unzip, and place the .bsa and the .esp in the Skyrim SE data folder, NOT the root folder. Run the Creation Kit(CK), (if you don't have it yet, download it), once it loads, all esps you had in the data folder will show as selectable. Click the Dynamic Vampire Appearance(DVA) .esp once, all of it's masters will show in a dialogue box on the right. Select each of these masters(should be Skyrim, Update and Dawnguard if memory serves), an X should appear in the box next to them. Make sure DVA is selected too, but also DOUBLE CLICK it so it shows as active file. Now click the button that says select as active file.

The esp will load. There will be errors, lots of them, because the CK is held together with safety pins and duct tape. Pay them no heed, click "Yes to all" to bypass them. When the esp is done loading, a dialog box of all the errors will show up. Close it out or ignore it, click on file on the upper left hand side and choose Save. If done right, a message at the middle bottom of the screen will say something like "Saving...done!" Exit out of the CK. Your esp is now updated to form 44 for Skyrim SE.

More steps: First move the bsa and esp back to the original mod folder you unzipped, for organizational purposes. Now you extract the .bsa and you can delete the .bsl. A program like Bethesda Archive Extractor(BAE) will suffice. Open BAE, drag the BSA onto the middle section, release, it will show a preview of all files to extract in that middle section. Extract the bsa to the same folder.

Second, and this is probably why it doesn't work for you. You have to update the meshes (.nif files) so they work with SSE. Download the latest version of Nif Optimizer, unzip it and open the executable. If you wish, backup your the .nif files found in Meshes/Actors/Characters/DVA just in case anything goes wrong. Alright, make sure you check the box "Head Parts Only" in this case as eye meshes definitely count as head parts. Browse to the aforementioned DVA folder under meshes and choose that folder. Congrats, the meshes are now updated. Note: Some guides mention that you need another program NifSkope to do more detailed work on eye meshes but I think that was a backup to account for an outdated version of NifOptimizer. I personally didn't have to do that.

Lastly, you can now delete the old .bsa as it's unneeded, zip the mod back up and add it to your mod manager and it should work fine as loose files. In fact I believe that's the preferred method if you use MO like I do. If you wish to repack it, find the Archive.exe under tools in the Skyrim SE root folder, and run that. Add all the loose files to it, but be sure NOT to select compress folder as you have more file types than just meshes and textures. Choose save, name the new .bsa the exact same name as the .esp, zip it up, and you should be good hopefully. I say hopefully because I did this first and tried running it with MO but it didn't work for me, so I had to extract the bsa again and run it with loose files. If you use NMM or Vortex hopefully you'll have better luck.

Here's the link guys, thanks

DVA Dynamic Vampire Appearance SE.rar 44.1 MB · 3,059 downloads

This file posted here is buggy POS, will eventually stop working, and cause your game to freeze up at load screens......Changing Cells eventually freezes game.

This download was causing me random infinate black load screens.

Thought it was any of the other mods I downloaded putting together my vampire playthrough.

Even pointed the finger at DyndoLod, SMIM, bunch of texture packs....Some sexlab mods I downloaded....

I really would have rather that it was any or all of those mods, and hey maybe in a light load order this plug in will work, but its not working for my load order.

Took a while to test....Finally I loaded all the mods back in that I thought it would be....Uninstalled this one, rolled out a fresh prisoner Nord put in Whiterun....Quickly entered/exited buildings all down the street...Normally it would be about 3 to 4 load screen's before the cell would not load in....Heck can do a whole set of adventures with that many load screens and I did raise a few characters to about level 9 while trying to hunt this bug down.

Got no idea how many people probably sat this in their LO and it never occurred to them that this culprit was halting their gameplay between load screens switching interior cells.

Do not use this file!
