Hi, I'm interested in purchasing Skyrim, but I'm a little confused about the adult mods. Is it anything like the Sims 4 mods, with a Turbodriver type engine, and easy to install animations? Or do you have to use a SFM type animator to make your own videos? I've never even played the game, so I have no clue what I'd be getting into. I can say that I never could make heads or tails of the Source Film Maker, so if that's the case, I doubt I would even try. lol

Haven't used Sims, so I can't make a direct comparison.

Installing sex mods into Skyrim is not "easy", but as long as you can follow directions, it is doable and reasonably reliable.

Main question that determines difficulty is whether you want a modded-out Skyrim just for sex (comparatively simple), or one that is stable enough and modded enough to make actual gameplay (story, main quest, etc) viable.  That second one can be a real pain to achieve alongside many of the sex mods.

Finally, I'd recommend Skyrim Special Edition for its stability.  I don't use it because I am hooked on some mods that don't yet exist for it, but if you "don't know what you'd be missing", it is definitely the safer/more stable option.

Skyrim have a 32bit version and a 64bit one

The 32bit version have the name SkyrimLE or Oldrim

The 64bit version have the name SkyrimSE

Both versions have 3 addons which ofc you need if you want the full game and the full mods support

those are: Dragonborn Hearthfire and Dawnguard.

The difference between 32 and 64bit version is that for the 32bit version exist more mods as for the 64bit version

Players play the one or the other version or both in same time.

Skyrim is a huge game with thousands of NPCs, play first the game learn it and after you can start with the mods.

It isnt a coincidence that Skyrim released 2011 and still the players want to play it ?
